Do I need prior astronomy experience to join?
Not at all. Beginners are always welcome, and members are happy to help you get oriented with the sky.
What if the weather changes before meetup night?
We post updates in advance if conditions are poor, including postponements or alternate plans when needed.
Do I need to bring a telescope or binoculars?
No equipment is required. Bring what you have, or simply come and observe through shared scopes at the meetup.
What should I wear or pack for comfort?
Layers, closed-toe shoes, and water are usually enough. A small red-light flashlight can help preserve night vision.
Is there meetup etiquette I should know first?
Keep lights dim, move gently around equipment, and ask before adjusting a telescope. Friendly questions are always encouraged.
